Wedding Planning Lab
MEET THE INSTRUCTORS
JENNIFER GRUBBS + JESSICA BASKETTE
Greetings Brides!

I am Jennifer Grubbs, the visionary behind the Wedding Planning Lab. I began my career in the event industry in 2010 when I launched my full service event company, now known as Planning With Style Events and often referred to as PWSE. I had a comfortable career in corporate america at the time and it was through prayer, the support of my loved ones, and self-assertiveness that I decided to create my own path. As a self-taught planner, coordinator, and designer, the journey was challenging with uneven roads at times, but I have worked diligently to become successful in my own right. Under the PWSE brand, I launched the "You Had Me At Hello" Bridal Expo, expanded my services to offer linen rentals, became (and still remain) the only preferred planner for The Legends Club event venue, and opened my own venue-"Panache... The Intimate Events Venue".
Over the last ten years, I have had the pleasure of collaborating with many industry professionals for an array of events to include the Augusta Masters. I am so blessed to have met and worked with Jessica on several events and projects. Throughout my years as a planner and coordinator, I have noticed that the importance of proper planning is often overlooked and underestimated; and I knew that I wanted to change that. After three years of praying and pondering, the concept of The Wedding Planning Lab came to me. Having seen her work ethic, I knew that Jess would understand the need that I was trying to address and help me to execute my vision... and that is exactly what she did! After seven long and tedious months, I am excited to share with the world what we have created!
Hello!
I am Jessica Baskette, a co-contributor to this southern treasure, The Wedding Planning Lab. I was introduced to the event industry in 2006 when I began working in the restaurant and events department at Jones Creek in Augusta, Ga. I instantly knew that I wanted to seek a career in events! Shortly thereafter, I began working with a local florist who trained me in wedding coordination. In 2010, I decided to pursue my hospitality degree from Culinary Institute of Charleston, where I also obtained certificates in event management, food&beverage management, as well as hotel and lodging management. I dove even deeper into my profession in 2016, when I played a lead role in establishing one of Augusta's most well-known catering companies. I successfully ran the company for two years until I transferred my talents to Cork and Flame where I am currently General Manager.
Over the years, I have worked with a number of high-profile clients and companies during the Augusta Masters and other events, as well as several non-profit organizations in helping to create fundraising opportunities through dinners, silent auctions, golf tournaments and other events. Regardless of the area of focus, I am passionate about the art and science of event planning because I find joy in not only helping my clients visions come to life, but also in creating a stress-free experience so clients can enjoy the planning process as much as they will enjoy the event!
While we have walked different paths in the event industry, we both have come to learn and understand the stress of planning for brides. Wedding planning is truly a science, and through our combined twenty plus years in this industry, we have developed the formula for couples to not only successfully plan their own weddings, but make it a stress-less planning experience. We are taking the guesswork out of wedding planning and making it more fun, more exciting, and EASIER for brides to plan like the pros.
This course will help you take control of planning in a 'do-it-yourself' style with the step-by-step guidance of planning professionals. We are ready and excited to help you create your dream day, while saving STRESS, saving TIME, and saving MONEY! We look forward to meeting you in the lab, where wedding planning experiments turn into professionally executed wedding dreams!
